With more than a decade of construction experience working for his father during his teen years and beyond, it was an easy decision for Mervin to transition into commercial roofing.
While visiting with family Mervin was asked by a family member to begin commercial roofing together. Having so much construction experience to glean from, he eagerly attended Conklin training in Kansas City in 2021. There he learned all aspects of roof coating systems, servicing flat roofs, and the full line of Conklin products.
His decade plus prior, was working with his father building pole barns, framing and remodeling homes and buildings, building free stalls, and installing shingles, metal roofing and siding and more. Mervin has knowledge of most aspects within the industry.
